We’ve won International Professional ‘Chapter of the Year’!

Published by Net Impact Amsterdam on

Each year Net Impact celebrates local chapters that have gone above and beyond to enable a positive difference in the world. This year, we were one of them!

With over 435 chapters spanning across more than 40 countries, the Chapter of the Year program is a way to celebrate achievements of top chapters in five categories: Undergraduate, Graduate, Professional, International Student and International Professional. We are extremely proud to announce that Net Impact Amsterdam has been chosen as the International Professional Chapter of the Year for 2020-2021.

During a challenging year, we are humbled to be recognised for our efforts to keep people in our community connected and continuously learning and developing for sustainability leadership. Starting in early 2020, many of you joined us in the ‘Impact from Home’ sessions, where we invite local sustainability thought leaders for interactive digital interviews with our members every other Friday (recordings here).

We also launched the ‘Net Impact Amsterdam Mentorship Programme’ where we matched 25 young professionals with mid- and senior-level sustainability, impact, and ESG experts for a formal six-month mentorship period. After receiving lots of positive feedback from the first Net Impact Amsterdam Mentorship Programme, we plan to host another cohort which is kicking-off early July.

We are excited to carry this positive momentum with us as we start venturing into ‘life after COVID’. We see the light at the end of the tunnel and look forward to seeing you all in-person again very soon! Stay tuned.
