The Net Impact Amsterdam mentorship programme connects established impact leaders with young and mid-career professionals who are seeking trusted guidance and coaching to flourish in the next step of their impact leadership journey.

Applications open until 24 January 2024!

Mentees

Any Net Impact Amsterdam members that have the motivation to join, the availability to invest time in the Programme and a learning mindset to drive their development, are welcome to apply. Please keep in mind that the capacity depends on the availability of suitable mentors. To apply, please fill in the survey here.

Mentors

We are always looking for experienced sustainability professionals to guide our mentees. To be a mentor in this Programme, it would be good if you:
-have significant experiences in one or multiple sustainability domains
-are open to invest time to meet your mentee and share your experience with them
-are able to recognise individual development needs of the mentee and support them in realising them (no coaching or similar experience required).

Being a mentor is a great way to have impact by supporting another person with their journey in the sustainability field. Additionally, this is a good opportunity to expand the personal network by connecting with other mentors and mentees.

If you wish, we can arrange a quick call with our team to give you additional information, you can mention this as part of the survey. To sign up as a mentor, please fill in the survey here.

About the Mentoring Programme

We match mentees with sustainability professional to work on their developmen based on similar preferences. In addition to the mentoring sessions, we will organise networking and learning sessions to connect mentors and mentees along the way. This cohort will run from mid of February 2024 to the beginning of July 2024.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with questions at amsterdam@netimpact.org.

How it works

Step 1: Members submit an application

This helps us understand your career stage, impact and professional ambitions, and goals for further development. We accept applicants based on motivation and commitment to the programme, availability, and clarity of goals to pursue.

Step 2. Net Impact Amsterdam matches mentors and mentees

Finding the right match is key. We aim to connect participants with a mentor that has meaningful experience in an area that will add value for the mentee’s career development and network.

Step 3: Mentorship pair agrees on scope

Mentors and mentees should agree to a minimum recommended scope of at least four one-hour sessions over a six month period. The mentorship pair should determine together if adjustments are needed
