Net Impact Amsterdam Mentorship Programme

The Net Impact Amsterdam mentorship programme connects established impact leaders with young and mid-career professionals who are seeking trusted guidance and coaching to flourish in the next step of their impact leadership journey.

Applications will open soon!

Mentees

We are looking for individuals who have experience in sustainability and who are keen to take their impact leadership potential to the next level. We also encourage candidates who do not have experience in sustainability directly, but who demonstrate significant motivation to use their transferrable skills in a new context.

Mentors

We are looking for individuals with considerable sustainability and impact experience to share. Mentors should be empathetic listeners who are willing to open up their expertise, network and experience to help empower their mentor to strengthen and tap their natural impact potential.

Not sure if you should apply as a mentor or mentee?

We have not defined who should be a mentor or a mentee. The choice is up to you. What role do you want to play in this stage of your career? What do you feel you need? There is no right or wrong answer, so we welcome you to consider your own situation and let that guide your choice. We are always happy to discuss should that be helpful.

How it works

Step 1: Members submit an application

This helps us understand your career stage, impact and professional ambitions, and goals for further development. We accept applicants based on motivation and commitment to the programme, availability, and clarity of goals to pursue.

Step 2. Net Impact Amsterdam matches mentors and mentees

Finding the right match is key. We aim to connect participants with a mentor that has meaningful experience in an area that will add value for the mentee’s career development and network.

Step 3: Mentorship pair agrees on scope

Mentors and mentees should agree to a minimum recommended scope of at least four one-hour sessions over a six month period. The mentorship pair should determine together if adjustments are needed

Member priority and financial costs

This programme is for Net Impact Amsterdam members. Membership is free of charge, so if you are not a member yet, you can apply to join here. The mentorship programme is also free of charge. There will be an opportunity to make a ‘pay as you want’ donation, but there is no obligation whatsoever.

Group networking and peer-mentoring

Over the course of the six month programme, Net Impact Amsterdam will facilitate a series of optional in-person and digital networking and career development events. These dates will be shared at a later stage.
